People in Glasgow spend more on tooth whitening than any other city in Scotland, a new survey has revealed.
The survey looked at the biggest beauty spenders across the UK and found on average people in Glasgow spend £473 on teeth whitening, making them the 13th biggest spenders on teeth whitening across the whole of the UK.
The three cities that spent the most in Scotland on teeth whitening were:
- Glasgow – spending on average £473 on teeth whitening every year
- Edinburgh – spending on average £452 on teeth whitening every year
- Aberdeen – spending on average £356 on teeth whitening every year.
‘The piece isn’t just about the total spend,’ Joe Gardiner, Totallymoney.com’s head of brand and communications, said.
‘It’s interesting to see the breakdown and understand which cities value which parts of their appearance the most.’
Across the whole of the UK, Leeds came in as top spenders on teeth whitening, spending £1,031 on average over the year.
